iTsAbEaT by Tunc Ak: High energy, rumbling, yet psychedelic, electronic instrumental music.
Albumsite: the site is the album, merging the music, the player, the return of the album art, and the distribution, into one entity, the internet. It, is the packaging, the new format. Throw your headphones on, go for a run, for a high paced, stereo imaged, aural trip.
Months in development, Tunc Ak Music was an extremely elaborate and complex site to develop. It’s really an artwork on to itself – a concept piece – and a music album and collaboration mechanism for musicians and fans. Written entirely in Flash (and therefore out of reach of mobile browsers), TuncAk the site is TuncAk the music album.
Visitors can listen online, download the album in multiple file formats, post widgets of songs onto any site, (the modern 45″), and remix or replicate any song from the playlist, then upload them back to the site and become part of the creative process of the website. All done in Flash!
To make it even more challenging, the visitor must explore the site for information and instructions, as there are many hidden features.
