Thumbnail Design, a graphic and web designer’s portfolio website, was conceived and designed by the client; we helped the client translate her layouts into a functioning website — a portfolio site built on the flexibility of WordPress system.
Though the site appears simple, there were lots of small complications: there are portfolio pages with captions, as well as ones without captions but with scrollable thumbnails. The images had to be large enough to enjoy but not so large as to overwhelm the minimalist layout of the pages; the slideshows had to be cross-browser compatible. We accomplished all this while maintaining the client’s design aesthetic.
