Omnivore Recordings is the record label for the fan with hungry ears, and an insatiable appetite for everything good. A homebase for the collector, the fan and the person who knows what their lifeblood is: music. Good music. Tasty music. Your stomach is grumbling, isn’t it? Omnivore is dedicated to getting it right on all fronts. From the music to the packaging to a delivery system that takes the fan inside the process so they can be there from inception to delivery at their front door.
The Omnivore Recordings website was a special project for Ragtag. The folks at Omnivore are serious music buffs who believe in archiving and sharing artists whose music demands to get out into the world. They share their passion and their products with an avid fan base who knows what they want, and demands the best.
Our special challenge was to make the site easily updatable and have it look organized and effortless to navigate. There’s a growing amount of content going into this startup record label and the site architecture had to be able to handle it today – as well as 3 years from now. We think we succeeded in delivering the results.
