There is a very distinct beauty that exists in an antique full of age and wear, in a cherished relic that has been passed down through the hands of generations. It develops into a timeless treasure that possesses an aura unique to the tales it tells and whispers it holds. Jacqueline Moore Designs believes in retelling those tales and releasing those stories and while embracing these legends of the past, we aspire to create those of our own.
The Jacqueline Moore Designs website was an immensely gratifying project to develop. It was also equally challenging. There are over a dozen galleries each with dozens of images and descriptions of project details. And it all had to be shown on the web, using modern technology while maintaining the antique look and feel that JMD is known for.
JMD’s clients are architects and interior designers who work on very high-end design projects and restorations. The website needed to show the lovely detailed work that Jacqueline and her staff do, all in a way that would be enticing and rich with details.
We accomplished this by using Flash to create a dynamic web space that scales itself to the size of the monitor being used to view (on a large monitor you get a larger version of the website than on a small one). We also used an antique book as our gallery window, where pages can be turned to view the contents.
All in all, a pleasing website that invites the viewer to explore…
